Sexual Harassment Involving College Professors

The University of Missouri-Kansas City's pockets are a little lighter after they settled a one million dollar lawsuit that was filed due to sexual harassment of two of their professors.

In the complaint that was filed two women, Linda Garavalia and Megan Pinkston-Camp, claim that the university did absolutely nothing after getting complaints about the sexual misconduct. The accused professors are C- Keith Haddock and Walker S- Carlos Poston the second. The accused were not available for comment.

Sexual harassment has been a problem for a very long time. However, in years gone by it was much more toleraded then it is today. In fact, in years gone by sexual harassment was not recognised by many as being harassment at all. It is definitely something that is not taken lightly and can land a perpetrator in a very regretful situation.

Recently, the vehicle emissions manager, Timothy Kulish, found himself is just such a situation. After being accused of sexual harassment at the DMV, he was then suspended, albeit with pay. Mr. Kulish was suspended for allegedly misusing state computers and violating the department's sexual harassment policy and ethics codes, the Hartford Courant reported. Mr. Kulish earned $86,392 yearly. Although he is currently on suspension, his firing becomes official in February
