Dogs are pack animals, and in their world there can only one pack leader. While it is wise to establish yourself as the pack leader when it comes to your dog, for your own safety, it is just as important how you teach your pet who's boss.

After having one cocktail too many, one particular 47-year-old man in Germany wanted to show a dog who was boss, so he began eating out of the dog's dish. That man soon found himself in need of a hospital. It seems he got down on all fours in his friend's apartment and, with the large dog watching, he began eating out of the dog's dish. The dogs response was to bite the foolish man in the face. The man was severely injured from the dog bite, it is unknown if he is missing body parts.

Remember, pack animals live by the rules of the pack, so when it comes to training animals don't wing it.
