Ex-House aide Claims Wrongful Termination

Stephen A.H.Keefer, a former House Democratic Caucus staffer, has filed a wrongful termination suit against his former employers. The case was filed in Commonwealth Court.

Keefer was director of information technology. In his suit he claims that the only reason he was fired from that position was to divert attention of an investigation pertaining to House operations away from certain individuals.
Keefer is among seven staff member who were asked to resign or were fired. That came after caucus attorneys reviewed evidence that was turned over to Attorney General Tom Corbett. It was believed that House staffers from both parties may have received state bonuses for work on political campaigns. Stay tuned.
