101-Year Old Woman Is Beaten & Injured

Just when you think you have heard everything.... A 101-year-old woman in New York, was beaten by a young man. The take was 33 dollars and the keys to her home. Rose Morat was in the process of leaving her apartment building with her walker . Yes, she was beaten while holding onto her walker. The elderly lady was just trying to get to church.

Based on the recollection of Rose in addition to the surveillance tape, police say the attacker who caused facial injuries to Rose, is a black man who appears to be in his 30s, is approximately 5 feet 10 and weighs about 165 pounds. He was wearing a hooded jacket at the time of the attack.

It is believed that another attack that occurred on the same day, in the same neighborhood, to 85-year-old Solange Elizee, was executed by the same perpetrator. In that attack the mugger took 32 dollars, the victim's wedding ring in addition to a ring given to her by her son on his death bed.

Posters have been placed throughout Queens, and an $18,000 reward has been promised. This attack has touched young and old alike. It seems that not even your elderly mother is safe anymore.
