Michelin Recalls Defective Motorcycle Tires

It is believed that there may be defective tires on the wheels of some motorcycles on the road. Michelin, the tire maker, has launched what they are describing as a precautionary recall. A spokesperson for Michelin stated that there have been no accidents reported to date as a result of the defective tires. Apparently, the recall is due to manufacturing problem.

What is not helpful is the fact that Michelin has not disclosed which types of Michelin tires will be recalled or how far the defective products have been distributed. It really makes little sense to disclose only part of the full story. I suppose, in order to make absolutely sure you are not using one of these recalled tires, the best bet would be not to use any Michelin tires at all.
