Hayes Company Inc. Recalls Outdoor Candles Due to Fire and Burn Hazards
The Consumer Product Safety Commision announced today that there will be a voluntary recall of "Avant Yarde" Decorative Glaze Outdoor Candles. In all, 83, 000 units will be recalled.

The problem with this particular defective product is that it is feared that the candle wax may be a fire hazard. The wax produces a high flame, which can cause a fire. To date, it has been reported that two consumers have received minor burns. For more information call Hayes at (800) 838-5053.
